We are inspired by the life of the Chinook salmon, born in our rivers, who, upon reaching adulthood, migrate to the ocean to mature and develop. However, after a couple of years, they return to their birthplace to reproduce, swimming against the current through freshwater rivers until they find their origin and begin a new life cycle.

Its notes highlight the sweetness of honey and the freshness of a ripe lemon.

For this blend, we use 50% beans from Colombia and 50% beans from Guatemala. The combination of these beans results in our Contra Corriente, a more subtle, fruity, and sweet coffee. It excels in brewing methods with extended extraction times such as V60, Kalita, or French press, but delivers surprising intensity in espresso and Moka pot preparations.

The result is a cup with vibrant acidity, a silky body, aromatic notes of fresh fruit, and a honey-like sweetness. This makes it popular among coffee lovers looking for a more complex blend with brilliant acidity.
